2.2 Services may be delivered by employees, contractors, or third-party providers engaged by The Beauty Index Co..
2.3 All service details, including scope and pricing, will be outlined in a proposal, quotation, or invoice provided to you.
2.4 Any additional services or changes requested ("Variations") may incur additional fees and will require approval prior to confirmation.
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 A booking is confirmed once a deposit or booking fee is paid and/or confirmation is received in writing.
3.2 Full payment must be made in accordance with the terms outlined in your invoice.
3.3 Failure to pay within the required timeframe (including 30 days prior to the service date, unless otherwise agreed) may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
3.4 We reserve the right to charge interest or fees on overdue payments.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Clients must inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions at least 14 days prior to the service date.
4.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring:
Hair is clean and free of product
Skin is clean and free of makeup
A safe, smoke-free, and hygienic working environment is provided
4.3 Clients are responsible for any damage to equipment caused during the provision of services.
4.4 All information provided must be accurate and complete.
5. Cancellations & Changes
5.1 Cancellations must be made in writing.
5.2 Deposits are non-refundable.
5.3 If cancellation occurs within 60 days of the scheduled service date, the full quoted amount may be payable.
5.4 Changes to bookings may be treated as cancellations and rebookings, depending on timing and availability.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse services where:
Payment obligations are not met
There is a breach of these Terms & Conditions
Unsafe or inappropriate conditions are present
7. Liability
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any allergic reactions or adverse effects where relevant information has not been disclosed.
7.2 Our liability is limited to the resupply of the Services where required under applicable law.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold The Beauty Index Co. harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

At The Beauty Index Co. all bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit, which confirms your date and the allocation of our artists.
Cancellations must be made in writing. If a booking is cancelled more than 60 days prior to the scheduled service date, no further payment will be required beyond the deposit.
Cancellations within 60 days of the service date will incur the full booking fee, as we are unlikely to refill the reserved time. Any changes to confirmed bookings may be subject to availability and, depending on timing, may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
In the unlikely event that The Beauty Index Co. is unable to deliver the agreed services, a refund or alternative arrangement will be provided where appropriate.
Refunds are not issued for change of mind. This policy is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
